Iptor Supply Chain Systems, a leader in supply chain management, planning and logistics software and services, today announces the launch and worldwide general availability of Iptor DC1 Version 10, their flagship ERP solution, at Iptor’s ‘Connect Americas’ event in Nashville, U.S.A.
The launch marks a new era for Iptor and DC1 in its 40 years of providing value to customers. DC1 Version 10 combines the stability of a platform with 100% up-time with the leading connectivity and usability aspects of a SaaS solution, including:
• Improved connectivity through an Open API framework : “Iptor aperīo”

• Greater mobility through Mobile Web Applications, including the Mobile Warehouse App to manage warehouse transactions on mobile units such as RF guns and tablets (Mobile Sales and Mobile Service Apps to follow in 2017).
The Iptor aperīo Open API framework opens-up the rich functionality of Iptor’s global ERP system – trusted by 1,250 customers with 4,000 installations in more than 40 countries. By allowing users to easily connect with other mobile applications, conduct predictive live-search and benefit from powerful user navigation DC1 Version 10 provides a simple user experience applicable for a ‘millennial’ world. In addition, the new version includes 35 functional enhancements and connects with multiple Cloud add-ons such as Iptor Exchange (EDI), Analytics, eCommerce and Payments.
Iptor DC1 Version 10 has received enthusiastic backing from current customers, including MWI Animal Health, an Idaho, U.S.A. based international animal health products supplier which distributes over 10,000 products to more than 350 vendors throughout the US and the UK. Doug Heikkila, of MWI Animal Health, commented, “Our business is growing – and fast. Value, efficiency and innovation are crucial to sustaining that growth and the Iptor aperīo Open API framework provides just that. By allowing us to open-up the functionality of Iptor DC1 it is set to become a critical connectivity enabler for our customer portal development, which is critical to providing high quality customer service and further improving the efficiency of our business.”
Peter Nilsson, CIO of Bevego, Sweden’s leading wholesaler and trading company in the building sheet, ventilation and technical insulation in the professional market, added, “We at Bevego are very interested in the new release, particularly the new user interface and Live Search, which is a new feature that will streamline everyday life for our users.”
Jayne Archbold, Iptor CEO, said, “Iptor DC1 Version 10 is all about connectivity in a connected world and is a milestone for Iptor and our existing and future customers. Six months ago we announced a Cloud First strategy to help distribution-focused organisations solve their most complex order management and fulfilment challenges in a world where exceptions are the rule. We also set a new focus on our flagship DC1 product to help businesses manage the 10% of orders that drive added value in distribution. The launch of Version 10 does just that and will enable our customers to thrive in an ever-changing, increasingly complex and highly competitive world.” www.iptor.com
