Unmatched design and cutting-edge performance with the new Toyota Traigo48 electric forklift range - March 12, 2025
Narrow Aisle Ltd, manufacturer of the Flexi Truck range of articulated forklift-based intralogistics solutions, has announced the launch of a new storage solutions department offering a free warehouse planning service.
Providing a complete turnkey package from design through to the supply and installation of a full range of storage equipment including pallet racking, shelving, sprinklers, mezzanine flooring etc – the new resource will deliver ultra-efficient storage systems for new build facilities and reconfigure existing units to optimise space utilisation and handling efficiency.
Narrow Aisle’s new project design department will be headed-up by Paul MacBeath, who has joined the company from Kion, where he led the group’s storage division.
Paul MacBeath comments: “Narrow Aisle now offers a range of warehouse design and implementation services that will develop the best possible solution to meet the unique needs of each application.”
Paul MacBeath adds: “Across the country there is a huge number of warehouse buildings that are no longer fit for purpose due to the extensive changes in the retail market and the economy in general. Often the unit’s original role has changed completely and, as a result, the storage system is no longer as efficient as it could be. By redesigning the facility’s layout and introducing new materials handling technology we give an existing warehouse a whole new lease of life. In many cases this will mean the client can avoid the expense and disruption to the business of moving to a new building or outsourcing part or all their storage operation to a third party.”
Donald Houston, managing director of Narrow Aisle Ltd, commented: “We are delighted that Paul has joined us and are very excited about the business benefits that our new storage solutions department will bring to our clients.
“Modern warehousing is all about maximising whatever space you have available and offering a complete service from planning through to supply and installation of storage equipment means we can help warehouse operators get the most out of a new building or make real operational improvements to an existing facility.”
