SureCam, the leading provider of connected dash cameras and video telematics solutions, is holding an industry webinar to discuss the growing threat to commercial fleet drivers, especially those working alone, out of hours and in remote locations. The online event – titled From Aggression to Assurance: Safeguarding Drivers with Advanced Fleet Safety Technology – will be hosted in partnership with personal safety specialist, Peoplesafe, and include speakers from leading vehicle operators.
“There are thousands of van and HGV drivers operating alone in the UK, who face considerable dangers every day as they carry out their work,” explains Sam Footer, Director of Partnerships at SureCam. “Our webinar will consider how best to mitigate risk and enhance lone worker safety, with industry leaders on the panel discussing their experiences and what they are doing to protect their most valued assets.”
The webinar will take place on Thursday 23rd November at 3.00pm GMT and is free to attend. The expert panel will delve into the evolving work dynamics and heightened significance of safeguarding lone workers, as well as consider the role of cutting-edge technology like dash cameras integrated with personal safety apps. Meanwhile, experts from two major vehicle operations will share their expertise and best practices for enhancing employee welfare.
